And Into The Trough Went Maggie!

Greetings Earthlings!

So I just came back from working at a horseback riding summer camp. It was really cool.
We got up at six a.m. to be at the barn by six thirty. Then we worked until eight-ish, around breakfast time.
Them we would eat fast and go back to working.
My camp name was Zebra and all the kids loved me. I even got fan letters!
And I got to ride Hot Rod all week. He was fun.
And I got to ride some bareback. I trotted bareback on Buddy, he's a camp horse.

Yay horses!
And I get to go back soon!

Until Later!

Cake And Cookies... Really Good.

Greetings Earthlings!

So it's the forth of July. Whoo-hoo.
Why am I not happy?
Well...
Hamburgers... Those are good.
Soda... That's good.
Cake and cookies... Really good.
So what's my problem?
Good question.
Maybe the fact that my friend still hasn't returned my books? SHE'S HAD THEM FOR MONTHS!!!!
I'm SO MAD at her!
If she doesn't bring them tonight to the fireworks, so help me I will go to her house and take them back!
I know her gate code, I can get in.

Until Later!

Anna

P.S. Just in case any of y'all want to break into her house, her gate code is: -Enter-0-1-4-8-Enter-.

So there, book stealing friend!

I Will Never Lick a Spoon Again...

Greetings Earthlings!

So I volunteer for the American Red Cross every summer. I help out teaching swimming lessons and can get free lessons for volunteering.
So I had on a swimsuit with criss-cross straps in the back.
Yeah... So nine to four... Sunburn... Sunburn lines...
So my back is red except for the pasty white criss-crosses.
Yeah... I want to yell now... I will...
Sunburn lines, go away!
Sunburn lines: No.
Me: Are my sunburns lines talking to me? I was just yelling at you to get my anger out...
SL: Oh, yes, we're talking to you. Everything is alive. Even the spoon you lick after making cake. Lucky spoon! Getting licked all the time! No one wants to lick a sunburn line!
Me: ...
SL: The way all those tongues-
Me: Stop! Enough! We, I mean I, have young readers!
SL:Ha. You wish you had readers...
Me: Ok, so I think that's enough blogging for today... I will never lick a spoon again...

Until Later!

I lived!

Greetings Earthlings!

Sorry it took me so long to get a post up about the backapacka trip. I've been a spot busy.
So all we did was hike. And make friends with some amazing Boy Scouts. Yeah. That's about it.
Cool.

Until Later!

It's Backapacka Time!

Greetings Earthlings!

Ok, so I was going to start this a tad different, but MB (Mary Beth) just hit me on the head with a rock, and now I don't remember what I was going to say...
Oh Yeah!
So, this weekend I'm going backpacking...
MARY BETH! STOP THROWING ROCKS OVER MY HEAD!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, she won't stop...
I had to hit her head...

Um, where was I? Oh, yes...
I'm going backpacking and I won't be back until Sunday, but, by then, I should have tons to tell you. Seeing as MB's going and all...
This should get interesting...
Anyways!
So we sometimes call backpacks backapackas. Back-uh-pack-uh-s.
So, guess what?
It's Backapacka Time!
See y'all- not really, but still- on Sunday!

Until Later!

Why The Podcast?

Greetings Earthlings!

So me and Mary Beth made a podcast about a month ago.
We thought it was THE BOMB! (speaking of bombs, we bomb fail. Read post below...)
Then I realized it was only two minutes long.
Sad day.
I could have SWORN it was longer...
So then me, Peter, Lydia and Joe (all younger family) made a new podcast. This one was about 'How to Make a Podcast.' We did that. We thought it was cool.
It was about three minutes long.
Grrrrrrrrrrr....
We can't seem to make long podcasts...
So we sang for another fifteen-ish minutes.
Yay! A long podcast!

Now, some of you might have some questions. Like:
Why the podcast?
Or:
Can I be on it?
Answers:
I have no clue.
And:
No. You can not.

And I have a question: Why am I blogging about this?
Answer:
No clue. Maybe you can tell me.
That is my question to you: Why am I blogging about this?
Hmmmmmmmmmm...

Until Later.

So, In Short, We Bomb Fail...

Greetings Earthlings!

So me and Mary Beth were trying to make a bomb.
We got it made: black power; soda can; matches; lighter.
We put the black power in the soda can and took a long match. We broke the match to where it's tip would be just at the top of the can when we put it in. We put it in.
We lit it.
Nothing happened.
We hit it with a stick.
Nothing happened.
James whacked in into the lake.
Something happened!: It sunk.
Drats.
So, in short, we bomb fail...
Yeah, epic fail. Epic frail, even!
Gah... We need to take bomb making classes or something.
Ah, well...

Until Later!

I Didn't Drop the Flag!

Greetings Earthlings!

So, last Sunday (May 17th), I went to my Tejas Riders May Playday.
For those of you how don't quite understand, let me sum it up!
Ok, so Tejas Riders is like a horseback riding club and the Playday is where we show off our skills by doing drills and racing barrels.
Well, I missed April practice so I had no clue I was going to be setting pivots. Pivots are where you go in (Holding a BIG flag) do a small drill and then set up for the rest of the group to weave around you. When the end retches you, you catch on the end.
I didn't know I was going to be doing that until about two hours before I had to do it. I had never done it before, and then had no time to practice. And I was leading it. Gah...
I did pretty well though and it turned out great. I didn't drop the flag! That made me happy.
But EVEN BETTER!

I also got chosen to ride in with the Texas flag!!!!!!!!
A HUGE Honor, second only to riding in with the American flag. We kinda ran around the arena a few times (On horses, DUH.) The Texas flag was heaver than the pivots by, like, five pounds or so.
And I didn't drop the flag! Nope, I never let go of it. Granted, when the wind shifted, I DID get a face full of Texas flag. So did Bueno, my favorite horse. But, aside from that, I think I did FLIPPIN' AWESOME!
Oh, and I got a killer sunburn on my arms. But still... Most awesome day of my life! So far...

Until Later!

Taco Bell!

Greetings Earthlings!

So me, Anne, Liz and MB got out of Girl Scouts and we were like, "Hey! Let's go to Taco Bell!" So we went, I stole some sporks which MB ended up taking from me and I just got them back yesterday.
Anyway...
We all got new names, (Mine is Zoey) sang 80's music (My favorite years!)
Me and Mb danced in front of the secruity cameras, mostly me. Nobody gets into it like me...
Then we stared talking about Twilight...
We think that Jacob is a jerk, Edward can go die, Bella sucks, Mike can burn a slow painful death, Jake can die slowly too...
Emmett, Rosalie, Alice and Jasper are the best. Yep.

Later days!

Glitter attack!

Greeting earthlings.
Hi! My name's Anna, and I'm homeschooled, just like some of my othe great friends, (Mary Beth has her own blog about this, http://homeschooledboredom.blogspot.com/ I think you should check it out)
Anyway, Mary Beth is here now.
We spent all day making low budget Twilight clip-ish thing, I was a vampire named Edyta (E-die-Duh- E, like you're saying the letter E, die, like someone is going to die, and duh, like when you slap yourself on the head and yell duh!) We were filming it on her cell phone, that was fun.
She only has about 45 seconds to film, so yeah...
On the first few, we did kinda bad.
We kept useing the pause button to make me look like I was moving faster, you know, like have me in one place starting to take a step, then pause make me a few feet away and have me finish taking the step to make it look like I was walking faster than I was. That was almosta bad idea...
Anyways, so in one we were trying to make me look like I was jumping really far, so we had me jump, stoped it before I hit the ground, have me come really close and get me landing, so when you put it together, it looks like I making one big jump. But... MB stoped it a bit late, so you see me land for just a tiny bit, so when you watch it, you see me hit the ground and then I'm in the air again... So I'm a leapfrog now. Sigh.
We had a good one though...
We went outside and put make up and body glitter gel on me; you couldn't even tell it was there unless you looked closer than I would want you to.
So anyway, I attacked Lydia, dumped her body in a hole.
I then saw MB filming me, so I walk up slowly and attacked her too.
Yup. So that's what happened.
Am I a crazy homeschooled girl or what?

Later days!
